AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE MAGAZINE - AUTUMN 2011

IT’S A WILDLIFE is featured on the front and rear cover of the ‘Spring 2009′ edition of Australian Wildlife magazine produced by the Wildlife Preservation Society.

The feature wrap around cover is of the Mareeba Rock-wallaby – Petrogale mareeba photographed outside Mareeba in Tropical North Queensland, Australia.

 

 

AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE MAGAZINE - SPRING 2010

A selection of fungi photographs from the the forests of Victoria are featured in an a photographic portfolio in the ‘Spring 2010′ edition of Australian Wildlife magazine produced by the Wildlife Preservation Society. In this edition, ‘FUNGI‘, selected wildlife images from IT’S A WILDLIFE compliment the article, written by WPSA president Suzanne Medway, to celebrate the United Nations declaration of 2010 being the ‘International Year of Biodiversity’.  The selected photographs are reproduced in full color over four pages with a photograph of the Hygroscopic Earthstar – Astreus hygrometricus adorning the front page of the magazine.  IT’S A WILDLIFE is proud to be involved in helping celebrate the international recognition of Australia’s amazing and unique biodiversity.

AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE MAGAZINE - AUTUMN 2010

A selection of wildlife photographs from the southern ocean are featured in an a photographic portfolio in the ‘Autumn 2010′ edition of Australian Wildlife magazine produced by the Wildlife Preservation Society. In this edition, ‘ANTARCTICA‘, selected wildlife images from the Sea Shepherds ‘Operation Waltzing Matilda’ whale defence campaign when campaign photographer Michael Williams was given the chance of a lifetime to set foot on the continent on Antarctica and the Kerguelen Islands.  The selected photographs are reproduced in full color over two pages with another three photos adorning the last page of the magazine.  This edition of Australian Wildlife Magazine is bound by an image of fledgling King Penguins – Apenodytes patagonicus photographed by Michael Williams in the Kerguelen Islands.

IT’S A WILDLIFE is featured in an article in the ‘Spring 2009′ edition of Australian Wildlife magazineproduced by the Wildlife Preservation Society. In this article, ‘Holding on in a modern world’,  wildlife photographer Michael Williams gives his account of frog decline in Australia and talks about wildlife photography in the field with IT’S A WILDLIFE partner and wife Sharon Williams. This four page feature is accompanied by full colour images on every page and the publication itself is covered back and front by an image of the endangered Waterfall frog – Litoria nannotis.

THE MELBOURNE HERALD SUN NEWSPAPER - Weekend Lift-out

IT’S A WILDLIFE - Nature and Wildlife Photography was featured in the Weekend lift-out included in the Melbourne HERALD SUN Newspaper on October 4th 2008.  The two-page article written by Cheryl Critchley, details the creation of IT’S A WILDLIFE and wildlife photographer Michael Williams tells of in-the-field experiences chasing wildlife throughout Australia and Costa Rica.
